Bagging It!

If Puruk Sandukui was better known, it would perhaps be one of the most celebrated natural landmarks in Southeast Asia. Known also as Bukit Telunjuk (‘Index Finger Hill’), this remote mountain features a 250-metre vertical stone cliff pinnacle as its peak. Apparently the closest village to Puruk Sandukui is┬áTumbang Masukih, approximately 10 kilometres away. It is hoped that Gunung Bagging will visit (but not necessarily bag!) this remarkable peak sometime in 2014.

Wow, looks interesting. Any info on the climb to summit? whether is there any established routes, sports or trad?
    Looks very2 interesting.
If anyone is looking to scale it, I’m interested to join in.

If you did manage to scale “the finger”, I can imagine there will be a great summit photo opportunity.
