The mountain is often hiked but currently there is not a huge amount of information on routes or the summit.

Practicalities

    • Getting there: The mountain lies in Chư Yang Sin National Park, approximately 60 km southeast of Buôn Ma Thuột.
    • Permits: Located within an officially designated national park (since 2002), entry and trekking require park permits. However one report suggests that “the mountain is closed to foreigners”.
    • Water sources: Unknown.

Origins and Meaning

The name Chư Yang Sin derives from local Êđê language, meaning “God’s Teeth Mountain,” referencing its jagged summit ridges.
