The summit area features temples, a giant 72 m bronze Bodhisattva statue, Ming Mẫu (Black Virgin) shrine, and a panoramic terrace for cloud-watching beginning before dawn.

Origins and Meaning

The name “Bà Đen” (Black Virgin) refers to the local legend of Ly Thị Thiên Hương, who reportedly leapt from the mountain to preserve her honor, later revered as the Holy Mother of Linh Sơn. The site includes a shrine built on her behalf that later became part of the mountain temple complex.
