There are a large number of resources available on Gunung Bagging, including the following:

Advice – It’s really hard to give general hiking and travel advice for such a huge geographical area. Nevertheless we have tried to do so here with an introduction.

Trip Planning Assistance – If you want detailed, specific advice based on the latest information, or help with contacting guides and arranging permits, then Gunung Bagging co-founder Dan is often available to assist.

Free Wall Map – This is the first edition of a wall map of the region’s peaks that can be printed out at A0 size by your local print shop and then displayed on your wall.

Trail Maps – A growing library of mountain trail maps directly commissioned by Gunung Bagging and produced by Indonesian experts.

Articles – Gunung Bagging has been covered frequently in the regional and international press – newspapers, blogs, magazines and so on – since 2009. We have also written a few articles ourselves. This is a selection of those still available.
