East Nusa Tenggara is comprised of approximately 550 islands, the main ones being Flores, Sumba and West Timor. It is famous for the islands of Komodo and Rinca, home to the fascinating Komodo dragon. The province also contains some of the world’s best diving sites. The administrative capital is Kupang in West Timor, and the astern part of Timor island (East Timor) is a separate country.
